Now that iOS26, I mean: iPadOS26, is upon us with new windowing system, I’m gonna re-cap how I’ve been using “Stage Manager” on the iPad for the last year. From hating it to setting it up right has been a wild ride but I’ve come to a place of optimum productivity on my main computer - the M4 iPad Pro. I’ve decided to write up my thoughts and conclusions right now, before upgrading to the new operating system with a completely new way of managing windows on the iPad. Let’s see if these ideas serve me or anyone in the future.

Being busy with my business and just making it better, I’m kind of late to the whole AI game, but over this past year finally I’ve started testing different AI models and tools to help me get more things done, quicker. Also, internally we’ve been testing using AI inside of Nozbe to help our customers get things done smarter. Today, I want to share my early attempts at vibe coding, meaning how I built a simple to-do list in plain JavaScript for my family and how you can use it as well, before you decide to upgrade to a fully blown to-do list like Nozbe. Here’s the story:

Back in 2019 we were tempted by our friends to rent a motorhome for a week and enjoy driving and camping with them in the beautiful country of Sweden. We loved it and after COVID, since 2022 we’ve been renting a motorhome every year for two weeks to visit Scandinavia. It’s become our family tradition. Here are my best tips and tricks when traveling with a family in a motorhome:

When I bought M4 Mac Mini for my home office I configured it with 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 512GB of SSD storage, which cost me $300 extra over the base Mini (1G Net and 256GB SSD). I didn’t spend extra $600 for the upgrade to 2TB of storage, because I had a 4TB SSD lying around and I didn’t want to spend the ridiculous money Apple was asking. However, when I heard about a Malaysian company called iBoff which reverse-engineered a 2TB SSD module I was both curious and eager to try it out. So I did spend an extra $280 and pre-ordered a module for myself.

I’m really proud of my new 2025 Home Office and the way it converts to a recording studio. However, as I was using it I saw some things that needed improving. As a Shortcuts user I like to automate more stuff to make sure I can switch on or off things in the easiest way possible. For that, I needed to use NFC tags and connect some additional lights to Apple Home using the app called Homebridge. Here goes:

Last year was my most difficult year as an entrepreneur. I feel like I’ve hit rock bottom but… luckily managed to bounce back. Hopefully now the only way is up and to the right! But yeah, 2024 was something else… that’s why I procrastinated writing this summary, my 11th one and published it only now, at the end of March, when we’re already 3 months in 2025… This will be my most candid yearly summary yet… hopefully this much transparency will serve other struggling entrepreneurs:

Now that I’ve finished setting up My new Home Office for 2025 I’m starting to appreciate the tweaks and improvements that lead to making it my best “recording studio” ever. It’s an improvement to the Streaming setup from 2021 and most gear stayed the same, but with the new things that came in and much better light management this makes the overall result amazing:

In Europe, most airlines, especially Ryanair, Easyjet and Wizzair, let you have a free small bag which you can put under a seat. The dimensions are more-less 40cm of height (16 inches), 25-30cm of width (10-12 inches) and 20cm of bulk (8 inches). Most of my backpacks are between 20-26L and they are just too big. Normally I’d get away with it, but recently the airlines started paying more attention to these bags’ sizes. So I checked if my favorite bag/pouches company Peak Design had anything that would work and I think I found it. It’s Everyday Backpack Zip 15L (Amazon link).

After a longer stint with my home office (only with minor changes since 2022) it was time for some major re-modeling. I started with moving furniture around but then I upgraded basically everything: cables, Mac, teleprompter and much more. So stay tuned for my best home office yet!
