This is my 10th yearly review. 2023 was yet another challenging year, but in a good way. I’ve re-discovered the power of slow but consistent iteration and this has been a theme all year long to me:

This is my ninth yearly review and yesterday was the Valentine’s Day which means I’ve never posted a review so late in a year. It’s because this January has been particularly busy for me as you’ll see. The year of 2022 in a nutshell was a big change for me - the business was going slower than in 2021 and in the end I had to make quite a few drastic changes that should bring hope for 2023. Here goes:

As always, better late then never for my yearly review of the past and long-gone 2021, a tradition I’ve started way back in 2013. To say that last year was challenging would be an understatement, here goes:

What a year 2020 was. The start was great, then the pandemic hit and now the world is completely different from the one we knew just a year ago as I was writing my 2019 review. Now, after I’ve published my subjective list of best blog posts of 2020, I’ve redesigned the Home Screens of both my iPad Pro 11” as well as the iPhone Mini it’s now time for my 2020 review. Posting such summary became kind of a tradition over the past 7 years. Luckily for me 2020 wasn’t all bad news but it really was a roller-coaster of a year:

Hello in 2020! So… instead of saying that “hindsight is 20/20” we can say that the future is twenty-twenty! Does it mean, I have a “perfect vision” for this upcoming year - well, maybe… but now let’s focus on reviewing 2019 as it was a very transitional year for me:

Now that 2018 is over and 2019 is upon us… and I’m already 2/3 in doing my annual review, it’s time for a post summarizing the last year for me. I’ve done similar posts about 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013… and they mostly serve me as a reminder how things went, but I hope that they also bring value to you - so here goes:

We’re already 1 month in 2018 but I haven’t still posted my yearly review… and yesterday we were celebrating 11 years of Nozbe so I decided to finally post my yearly review - again, I’m writing this more for myself as a way reflect on last year and to be able to get back to it, but if it serves you as an inspiration, be my guest! Here goes:

It’s almost the end of January so I’m pretty late with my 2016 review but… I really needed to write it all down if not for you, then at least for myself. I’be done reviews of 2015, 2014 and 2013 and these served me well so now it’s time to take a look at last year, the 2016, here goes:

This time it took me a while to do some thinking and reviewing. We’re 7 days in 2016 and I’m still processing all the lessons I’ve learned from 2015. Overall it’s been a pretty stable year for me, but some things didn’t go as planned or were more challenging that I anticipated. Here goes:

Wow. What a year it was! I lost close to 10kg, did my first triathlon (and two more afterwards!), wrote my first solo book, launched Nozbe 2.0, radically changed our business model, created a new project (to be launched in 2015) and started growing my team the right way… and I still feel like I’ve yet so many things to accomplish! If you’re curious what I learned from all this, read on:
